Blue & Gold Banquet

Last night we went to a blue & gold banquet for Aaron's scout activity. They served dinner and had some fun entertainment. Their theme was based around the orient so they had oriental food, and some kids did karate moves for the entertainment. Our kids had the chance to try and use chopsticks. It was so funny to watch them in the end they decided that using the fork was much easier. They also gave out awards to the boys in each group that earned them. Aaron has been working hard to earn stuff. Last night he was awarded one silver arrow, two belt loops one for computers, and one in citizenship. In the second photo of Aaron it shows him holding a firecracker and that is what his leaders put his awards in when they presented it to him. I thought that was a real neat way to do that. We had a good time being together as a family sharing in an activity that Aaron helped put together. In May Aaron will move to the Bear den and I am looking forward to all the many things that he will do there.

Good Job Aaron! He is so cute! We don't even have cub scouts here so Jackson will have some catching up to do when we get out there!
