With Aaron's 9th birthday next week, we've been asking him what types of things he wants for his birthday. One thing at the top of his list is a Rip-Stick. (its like a two wheeled skate board) The neighbor girl has one and let him try it out the other day. His first time on it, he fell and fractured his arm in three places. Needless to say, Jeff and I aren't sure if he is going to get one for his birthday this year. Even with it being his right hand he is getting along just fine, except for the occasional unreachable itch. We think he likes having a cast with all the extra attention and babying he gets. Both at home and at school.

very cool aaron! did you know i had a cast on the exact arm at the exact age that you have? mine was white though!
Ah, poor guy! Those things scare me to death!
Poor Aaron...he sounds just like Ralphie who wished for his Red Rider Bee-bee gun but his mom kept telling him "You'll shoot your eye out!" At least if he does get the skate board he's already experienced the possible side effects. I do love the green cast--an excellent color choice!
Ouch! We've had a broken arm & a broken leg at our house, so we can relate! At least it will be off for most of the summer! Get feeling better!
Hey Aaron! If ya gotta go down you did it in style! Might as well be having fun and trying something new and risk an injury. Great looking cast!
Love, Camille
